HAPPY HALLOWEEN.   I love you all and LOVE hearing from all of you!!! Sorry I don't always have time to write out a response but you all are the BEST.  Things I love: The lightening storms here have been CRAZY! They’re so fun. Especially since we are on the top floor of our building!! It remind me of when I was in Haiti. We would sit on the roof and watch the lightening storms… and now I’m here doing the same thing in Bolivia.  I GOT 5 LETTERS THIS WEEK. WHAT THE!!! Best week of my life!!! Too bad they were all from June 1 st  J So if you’ve sent me a letter… don’t worry. I’ll probably get it in 6 months! This week I was wondering why such difficult things happen to missionaries and their families why they are on their missions. As we are here serving God you think everything would work out perfectly. As I was thinking about this I realized that never in my life have I had such a close relationship with the Lord. Never have I trusted in his pl...

Things I love: This week Pamela got baptized… and I can not describe the happiness I felt for her. Seriously, I know that sounds dumb and cliché. But she was so prepared, ready and grateful to finally have a purpose here, to finally understand Gods plan for her. Helping someone discover their own relationship with God brings a different kind of happiness. How cool is my comp?!?! so she directed us and we did our best to help. BASICALLY start booking appointments with me for when I get back… JK. We mainly watched. And tried not to mess up. We made so many goodies this week, pizza, tomato soup, pancakes… It’s a problem. BUT I love eating. And people love learning to make American food SO we’re bonding. My body may not be so happy BUT I’m happy. Speaking of eating…. Compi has decided ...

Things I love: We were chatting with a lady in front of her door when all of a sudden the wind blew by and slammed her door shut. She didn't have a key so we were all locked out of her house and her child was locked in. I told her I could climb over… Ugh climbing over a super high door in a skirt was an adventure. Some taxi was passing by as I was on top of the wall and he just drove by REAL slow and stared. Mmmmhmmm. I’m fitting it realllllly well here   J The little boy we eat lunch with everyday showed us his food and I said, “lucky duck!”. He asked me what that was and I just started laughing… And for some reason he now thinks that forks are called “LUCKY DUCK!”  I don’t know why it made me laugh so hard but  even now, a week later, he thinks that’s what you call forks.   This week we were teaching one of our investigators. We were talking about why we don’t believe in drinking alcohol, coffee, tea. We also talked about why we don’t believe in sex befor...
