Week 74: The Dreaded Weekly Email
Things I love:
- The broccoli ladies. We found a hidden dirt path and when we entered there were huge fields of BROCCOLI. There were also a bunch of cholitas preparing the broccoli! We told them we wanted to help.. because we wanted to learn how. They just laughed at us. So we just started helping. They turned about being hilarious. I love the cholitas!!
- This week I had a few hard days. We didn’t have anyone, not a single person show up to church. It was a Little discouraging. BUT as I took minute to think about What I should be doing differently or better… I realized that there is ALWAYS something to learn from the hard days. SO I made a calendar and passed it around our Ward. I made everyone tell me when They can accompany us. I realized that if things are going how I want them to be going there is something I need to change. I felt a new sense of determination to work even harder and dedicate every minute.
Things I am learning to love:
- EEEEEEK. Sorry you are going to read lots of bathroom details from this week. We offered to help clean the church because there was only 1 person cleaning all by himself. When we got to the bathrooms we realized that the bathrooms had been without water for the whole week but that people had continued using them. WHAT. NO. Haha needless to say They were full of nasty and were definitely in need, and WATER. But They looked BRAND NEW when we left J
- Ahhhh this week we had an INV. That started telling us Mormons are CRAZY. He started pulling out alll sorts of CRAZY Information from the internet and ranting to us… Wahhhh. We had to listen politely, but as we were leaving he told us that he would like us to keep visiting him. WHAT. Ya ok.
- OH MY GOSH. I was in the church playing the piano and there was a Little girl about 5 years old who wanted to help me play the piano. That was fine.. but something started to smell super bad. I asked her if she needed to go to the bathroom. She told me no and gave me a dirty look. About 30seconds later she left sprinting to the bathroom. When she came back the smell was worse. EEEK I told her she needed to go to the bathroom again. She told me no. Haha The usual pattern. I started smelling her trying to figure out What was smelling so bad… it was her HAND. I told her to go wash her hands. She told me no… wahhhh. So I humbled myself and asked her if she wanted me to go with her and she said yes. WHO KNEW. And when we got to the bathroom there was… wait for it… poop in the bathroom sink. WHAT. I have NO IDEA how that happened. But we washed her hands and the sink SUPER WELL.
LOVE YOU ALLLL. Thanks for you letters!!! Sorry for all the random capitol letters. The computer is WACK.
