Week 24: The Dreaded Weekly Email
Things I love: We were teaching a group of kids this week and THEY THOUGHT I WAS FROM SPAIN. They were shocked when I said I could speak English. Yeah, yeah… I know they were children BUT hey! At Least I could have a conversation with them AND they could understand me!! It’s great being able to talk with people and instead of looking at me like I’m crazy and turning to my compi to ask for help they’ll respond to me! WAHOO. This we were teaching a lady who seemed very sad. We talked with her for a while and she told us that her son had passed away at 7 years old – 13 years ago. I could see the hurt in her eyes. She was so sad but I was so grateful to confidently be able to teach her about God’s plan for us. That we are meant to be families for eternity – not just for our time here on earth. MY COMPI.
