Week 50: The Dreaded Weekly Email

Sorry homies. I know it's a little short today. BUT THANKS FOR ALLL YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT!!! I sure love hearing from all of you!

Things I love:
  1.  I love the quote that says, ¨there´s no comfort in the growth zone and no growth in the comfort zone¨. That quote sums up my week. There are lots of hard times on the mission BUT there is always something to learn. I love that I am truly learning to be a kinder and more patient person (I hope). I love that we are given experiences in our life to learn . We can choose to be better from the trials we have in our lives.
  2. ICE CREAM. Man. I just love ICE CREAM. I found my FAVORITE brownie ice cream this week. AND I was so happy.
  3. I love the faith of other people. I love hearing their stories. And I love learning from them. There is a young mom that got kicked out of her house for having a Book of Mormon. Her mom kicked her out and said she wasn't allowed to live in her house. Wasn't allowed to have any of her things. She was kicked out with her husband ad her one month old baby. They didn't have ANYTHING. And they decided that their faith was more important than THINGS. Gahhhh. They are such an example to me!

Things I’m learning to love:
  1.  Sleeping on the bathroom floor. EEEEKKK. I had another wonderful night where I spent a good chunk on the bathroom floor doubled over. WAH. I gotta be honest. After nights like that I just miss BATHS. I think that will be one of my first plans when I get back. TAKING A BATH. And eating a BURGER.
  2. Being FORCED to eat three meals. Wahhhh. I like food. But I don’t like it when you make me eat until I feel like I’m going to die. I could NOT finish my food. And they started talking about how they didn’t have money for food and WAHHHH. So then I asked for a container to take my food home and they started laughing and said they were kidding GAHHHHH. After I feel like I’m going to die! How could they do that to me?!?! Haha it was good. Real good. I’m gonna have to think about how to get them back!

Had to walk through a river to get to our CITA.
Gave my compi some BRAIDS. Now she really looks like she's from Africa.
This is what I wore to service. We had been in intercambios (a sleepover with other missionaries) and so I didn't have my clothes. MER.
Service with our Zone. MER. My outfit.
Compi got sick. We decided to make arroz con leche. AND I finally mastered the art of opening a can without a can opener.
 Compi working her magic.
She wanted the same hair as me. SURE:
We climbed over the wall to steal HIGO. Guys. It's FIG. Hahaha Who knew I liked fig?! Ha. Welp. I do.
BIRTHDAY. They fed us so MUCH FOOD!!! GAHHH. Like three meals.
Zone meeting in the Nursery, with the baby chairs.
