Week 64: The Dreaded Weekly Email
Things I love:
- We went exploring in the mountains! We found waterfalls, a river, trees and a bridge! It was the best... Eventhough I may have been dying it was definitely worth it! OH OH we also saw a monkey! WHAT THE! Sorry. No pictures. BUT I saw one!
- This week I felt the spirit guiding me so many different times! One in particular is when I felt like we had to stop and pray before leaving the house. We always pray, and I think we had already prayed BUT I felt like we had to stop in the stairs and pray again. I offered the pray and prayed for comfort (consuelo). It was super strange. I didn't know why those words came to my mind but as the day went by I had some super hard news come my way. I recognized that night that God had guided me and helped me to recognize what I needed.
Thinks I'm learning to love:
- What we call the double dragon.... I'm sure you can alll guess what that means. When it is coming out both ends. WAHHHH. I got so sick this week. But it always passes, right?! Lets hope.
- OH MY GOSH. I was feeling pretty sick when a lady offered us juice. Well first she had offered us soup and I talked our way out of it and then she offered us juice so we had to accept. BUT she was slaughtering ducks. Her hands were covered in duck guts. When she handed me a cup I watched the liquid from her hands drip into my cup... WAHHHH. I wanted to dump it out. Or say no. But I just drank it. I'd like to blame that on me being sick... but I was already sick when she gave me the juice.
