Week 50: The Dreaded Weekly EMAIL

Milagros this week!! Too many people to teach. Too many investigators at church coudn't talk to all of them! Is that even possible.... It happened! Love you all! The work is good and I am great!

Things I love:
  1. This week we were walking down the street near our house and a dog came barking and charging at us. MER. My love for dogs is for sure decreasing everyday! BUT out of no where a cholita (traditionally dressed bolivian lady) with a broom came charging at this dog. Yelling at it to leave us alone. Oh my. I love her. And after that I could not stop laughing. Saved by a cholita.
  2. DUDE. This morning I went HIKING. I miss hiking. I love hiking. This morning was the best. I pretty sure when I get home I'll be spending 7 days in the mountains. By myself. Ok maybe not. BUT this morning was SO GREAT. We hiked to the tallest hill near us (basically a mountain. Almost...) . And at the top there were BULLS. HA. So random. And then a random CHOLITA searching for her lost lamb.. haha I love Bolivia. And Hiking.
  3. We had an activity this week with the jovencitas from our ward. I taught them how to make pizza! They were all so excited. They wrote down the recipe and ate 5 HUGE pizzas. Cool.
  4. We were playing with a little girl this week and my compi grabbed her toy, that she couldn't reach - to help her - and the little girl screamed GIVE IT TO ME. haha couldn't stop laughing yet again.
  5. MY compi is growing up.. She has to u se the bathroom ALOT. But she refuses to ask for the bathroom. SO I HAVE TO. In my broken spanish I always have to ask for her. BUT this week she asked allll by herself. Mi wawita is growing up!

Things I'm learning to love:
  1. This week I tried to help some cholitas peel potatoes. They just LAUGHED at me. hahahaha I was a little slower than them. They could peel it with one strip. And my strips feel off the size of a finger nail. One day. ONE DAY.
  2. A man tried to BUY ME. !!! WHAT?!?!?! A 50 year old man said he wanted to conquer me. Our friend told him I wasn't easy... and then he said there wasn't anything money couldn't buy!!! WHAT THE LOCO. haha he then turned to me and asked if I spoke spanish. I said no. And then he asked how old I was and I said 18. CRAZY MAN. POR FAVOR NO!
Bought fresh milk and cheese. WOOP.
They told me I look better as a cholita... Should I believe them?
These are ALLLLL of my compis.
I was trying to kick the dog out of our house. He wouldn't leave. Gotta be meaner.
Bread the size of my head.
The ladies laughing at me while I tried to peal potatoes.
Our amiga... Who almost sold me.
The group learning to make pizza!
 PIZZZZA!
 HIKING!!! So happy :)
We found this I don't even know what but it had all the names of the apostoles written on rocks.
Look how sweaty I got. GROSS.
compi dyed the tips of her hair blonde. She wanted to look like her mom :)
