Week 2 The Dreaded Weekly Email

Man oh man. This week.

To put it simply, read Jeremiah 4:19-20. For those of you that don´t
have a bible nearby, it’s starts off with, “My bowels, my bowels!”
A few of you asked about the food. If I were to have answered those
questions last week I would have said it was great. Yogurt, toast,
muffins, a plate of sketchy cheese (that I eat) and or eggs for
breakfast. Rice or potatoes, some sort of meat (chicken, fish or beef
– normally we get a choice), salad bar (normally with some sort of
slaw, beets and or potatoes), fruit (pineapple, granadina, papaya,
passion fruit, cantelope) and some sort of dessert for lunch and
dinner. And most days we get ICE CREAM at lunch or dinner. Not bad at
all. Senna had become a new friend of mine but all in all it was
pretty great!

This week though, my body did not agree with the food. It´s bound to
happen to every missionary, right? Welp, it happened to me. Sunday
night I got sick. Sprinting to the bathroom sick. Couldn’t eat for a
couple days. Drank a few BLUE powerades (the good stuff) from our
sketchy vending machine and now I’m doing mas mejor – much better
(don’t worry mom, I mixed it up and ate fruit and yogurt this
morning).

What else to update everyone on?
Mmmm. My afternoon teacher still loves to tell me to only speak in
Spanish to me. And expects me to respond only in spanish. HAHAHA. I
try. It´s getting better day by day. That´s all I can expect, right?!

Things I love:
1. My companion laughs so hard she pees her pants. Literally.

2. On my birthday a youth group (sort of like an EFY thing) came and
toured the MTC. Our teacher asked if they wanted to ask us anything.
One girl looked directly at me and in spanish asked what each of our
ages are. OF COURSE. BECAUSE I LOOK SO OLD. but I said today I´m 24.
So they allll sang to me. and then the rest of the day everyone was
wayyy too nice to me.

3. The general conference talk - Stay By the Tree. Read it.

4. Alma 13:3 and 1 Nephi 1:20

Things I’ll learn to love:
1. Working out to church music. UHHH WHAT. I try not to throw up in my
mouth but the day will come when I truly enjoy it, right?

2.  Companion Prayers. I just kinda feel a little weird about those.
But uhhh it´ll come.

3. My afternoon teacher. Pray for me.

4. Spanish. HAHAHA

LOVE YOU ALL. Thanks for all the emails!!!
